Our client, a fast-growing online retail company, is seeking an experienced E-commerce Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s online sales and presence across digital platforms. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, leadership, and hands-on management of all aspects of e-commerce operations, from optimizing user experience to driving revenue growth through online sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, ensuring smooth functionality and optimal user experience
- Develop and implement online sales strategies to increase revenue and improve profitability
- Monitor and analyze website performance metrics, including traffic, conversion rates, and customer behavior, to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute digital marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches
- Optimize product listings, images, descriptions, and other content to drive sales and improve SEO rankings
- Coordinate with logistics and fulfillment teams to ensure efficient order processing and timely deliveries
- Manage the e-commerce budget, including monitoring expenses and ensuring ROI on marketing initiatives
- Analyze competitors and market trends to stay ahead of the industry and drive continuous improvements
- Ensure compliance with all online retail laws and regulations, including data protection and privacy policies
- Lead, train, and mentor the e-commerce team to meet performance goals and grow the department
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably within the retail or consumer goods sector
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing e-commerce platforms
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) and tools (Google Analytics, SEO, SEM)
- Experience with digital marketing strategies, including paid advertising, email marketing, and social media marketing
- Excellent understanding of online sales funnels, user experience (UX), and conversion optimization
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Leadership experience with a focus on team development and performance
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field
