We are seeking a versatile, hands-on Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to join our team. This role is designed for a “fixer”—someone who possesses a broad technical skillset and the ability to pivot between different types of manual labor and technical repairs throughout the day.
The ideal candidate is not just a specialist in one area but a proactive problem-solver who can take a project from structural welding to final finishing.
Key Responsibilities

Welding & Fabrication: Perform various welding tasks (MIG, TIG, or Arc) for repairs, structural reinforcements, and custom fabrications.

Mechanical Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair basic machinery, power tools, or vehicle components as needed.

Basic Electrical & Plumbing: Handle minor repairs such as replacing fixtures, clearing blockages, or troubleshooting simple wiring issues.

Carpentry & Construction: Assist with framing, mounting, basic cabinetry, or masonry work depending on the project requirements.

Facility Upkeep: General “handyman” duties including painting, drywall repair, and ensuring the workspace remains safe and functional.

Problem Solving: Assess broken equipment or infrastructure and determine the most efficient, cost-effective way to restore it to working order.
Skills & Qualifications

Proven Experience: Demonstrable experience in welding (certification preferred but not always required if high proficiency is shown).

Tool Proficiency: Expert-level comfort with a wide range of hand and power tools (grinders, drills, saws, etc.).

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in various weather conditions, and spend long periods on your feet.

Safety Conscious: Strict adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Adaptability: A “can-do” attitude with the willingness to learn new skills on the fly and jump into different tasks as priorities shift.
