Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all equipment, systems, and facilities are in optimal working condition. This role is critical to maintaining a safe, efficient, and functional environment for our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues; repair or replace defective parts and equipment as necessary.
• Conduct repairs on building infrastructure, such as doors, windows, floors, and other fixtures.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls, ensuring quick and effective resolution of issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute maintenance projects, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment; order materials as needed to maintain sufficient stock levels.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Facilities Manager.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
