Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Admin Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. You will support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. If you have excellent multitasking abilities and are detail-oriented, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments.
  • Maintain filing systems and office organization.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Develop and maintain a contact list for internal and external communication.
  • Order office supplies and manage inventory levels.
  • Book travel arrangements as required.
  • Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
  • Assist in the coordination of events and staff meetings.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role or similar.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Matric certificate or equivalent.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with office management software (e.g., MS Teams, SharePoint) is an advantage.
