Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Barista to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffees.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing friendly and efficient service.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the point of sale (POS) system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including coffee machines and counters.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Educate customers about the coffee menu and recommend items based on their preferences.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and ensure compliance with food and beverage standards.
• Assist in training new staff members when necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Barista or in a similar role in the food and beverage industry.
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 10kg.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Barista training or certification is a plus.
