About the Role:
Our client, a renowned retail company, is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Sales Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering an exceptional shopping experience by assisting customers with their needs, recommending products, and driving sales. Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage customers as they enter the store
• Provide product information and assist customers with inquiries
• Recommend suitable products based on customer preferences and needs
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and store policies
• Process transactions at the point-of-sale and handle cash or card payments accurately
• Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times
• Meet and exceed individual and store sales targets
• Handle customer complaints and returns professionally
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation and positive customer experience

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a retail sales environment
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer knowledge
• Customer Focus: Ability to understand and respond to customer needs effectively
• Sales-driven: Motivated by sales targets and capable of upselling products
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15kg as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional qualifications in retail management or customer service are advantageous
