Our Client is looking for Security / CCTV Alarm Technician

Installation of new projects, service call outs and scheduled maintenance. Structured cabling and project management. You must be a specialist in fault finding. Surveillance and networking are the key skills and expertise required for this position, however candidates with more experience such as alarms, access control and electric fencing will rank higher.

CCTV Surveillance and networking

• Design of systems, installations, and maintenance of IP based Systems
• Set up and programming of video analytics.
• Understanding of camera lenses, blind spots, and camera types.
• Set up internet connections between clients and control room.
• Networking and IT skills are a must (Set up of routers and wireless networks)
• Fibre splicing will be to your advantage.
• Training and handing it over to the client.

Alarm Systems

• New installations of Wired and Wireless Alarm Systems.
• Fault finding.
• Placement and knowledge of PIR detectors.
• Programming of systems.
• Training and handing it over to the client.

Access Control

• Installation and maintenance of fingerprint readers, facial recognition.
• Set up and configuration of software, door controllers, readers.
• Installation and maintenance of boom barriers, turnstiles, and gate automation.
• Plan and implement reticulation.
• Training and handing it over to the client.

Electric Fencing

• Installation and maintenance.
• Fault finding.
• Scheduled maintenance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience
• CCTV, IT and network specialist.
• Must be able to work within strict timelines
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
• Valid Driver’s License & Own Vehicle – Non-Negotiable
• Traceable references
• Computer literacy MS Office and Excel
• Able to travel all around Gauteng
• Possess a positive work ethic.
• Must be healthy, neat, disciplined and well organised.
