The Change Management Specialist is a strategic, people-oriented professional who manages the organizational and human impact of ERP implementations. This role is crucial for ensuring a smooth transition and maximizing user adoption. The specialist develops and executes a comprehensive change management plan, focusing on communication, training, and stakeholder engagement to minimize resistance and empower employees.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a change impact analysis to identify how the new ERP system will affect different departments and roles.
- Develop and implement a robust communication plan to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
- Design and deliver targeted training programs, including creating training materials, user guides, and FAQs.
- Coach and support project sponsors and managers to effectively lead the change within their teams.
- Measure and monitor user adoption rates and gather feedback to identify areas of resistance and refine the change management strategy.
- Partner with the Project Manager to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan and timeline.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in change management, with a track record of successfully supporting large-scale enterprise technology or business transformation projects.
- Skills:
- Methodology: Strong knowledge of change management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Prosci).
- Interpersonal: Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Training: Proven ability to design and deliver effective training programs.
- Certifications: A Professional Certified Coach (PCC) or Prosci certification is highly valued.
