We’re looking for a proactive and skilled IT Support Technician to be the first point of contact for our clients’ technical issues. You’ll manage, maintain, and provide both on-site and remote IT support, ensuring our clients’ technology infrastructures operate smoothly and efficiently. This role is perfect for a problem-solver who enjoys working with people and a variety of technologies.
Education & Experience:
- Education: A Matric certificate is required. An associate degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology) or a relevant professional certification (e.g., CompTIA A+) is highly preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of proven experience in an IT support, help desk, or similar role. Candidates with a strong technical aptitude and relevant certifications may be considered with less experience.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ is strongly recommended. Other relevant certifications like CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are a plus.
Basic Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems and common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, G Suite).
- Experience with basic network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with remote support tools and help desk ticketing systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical issues independently.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on-site visits.
