Job Description: The House Painter will be responsible for preparing and painting surfaces in residential properties, including walls, ceilings, doors, and trim. Responsibilities include surface preparation, paint application, and ensuring a smooth, professional finish. This role requires a strong eye for detail, proficiency in color mixing, and the ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by washing, scraping, filling holes, and sanding as needed
• Apply primers, paints, and finishes according to project specifications
• Mix colors and textures to achieve desired effects
• Cover and protect furniture, flooring, and fixtures during the painting process
• Clean up materials and tools after each job to maintain a safe and tidy environment
• Collaborate with team members and communicate with clients to meet project expectations
• Maintain an inventory of painting supplies and materials

Requirements:

• Experience: 3-5 years of residential painting experience
• Skills:
  • Proficiency with brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other painting tools
  • Familiarity with different paint types and finishes
  • Ability to work with ladders and scaffolding for high areas
  • Basic knowledge of color mixing and matching
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods; lift and carry up to 25 kg
• Other: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of specialized painting techniques (e.g., faux finishes, texturing)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
